Holly Clusters
Another holiday favorite. This is another one we used to make all the time during the holidays and it’s always tasty. The one thing I would caution people on is the size of the clusters. I prefer mine to be a little smaller than what we made this weekend, but they are still good.
Ingredients:
1 stick (or 8 tbsp) of butter or margarine
30 large marshmallows
1/4 tsp green food coloring
4-1/2 cups corn flakes
red candies
Directions:
- Melt butter and marshmallows over low heat.
- Turn burner off and add food coloring. Stir until evenly colored and then add corn flakes.Stir until all flakes are coated.
- Drop mixture by tbsp on wax paper. Press red candies in each cluster randomly. Let stand for 1 hour in fridge.
